setup complete

The first version of the site that's actually somewhat presentable is done! I went with Zola for the SSG, GitHub Actions to publish to Neocities, and managed to hack together some HTML, CSS, and Javascript to make my own theme.

I set out with a bit of a goal for this project not to add any extra frameworks (even npm!) and keep it minimal & portable, and I think I've done a decent job considering that limitation so far.

I'll probably do another pass to make it feel more like an actual PC-98 game soon, but I also want to focus on actually repairing my computer and making art.

A blog post on that should be coming in shortly once I back up the original HDD with the Win3.1 installation. So far I'm running a community HDI that includes DOS, a bunch of conveniences for copying files over but I want to migrate over the original install so I can run drivers for the SC-88 and Wacom ArtPad II.

Although, there are community drivers for the ArtPad II in DOS, and managed to test it out a bit in Multipaint System (マルチペイント), the defacto standard for PC-98 art. No pressure sensitivity is a bit of a pain, but I didn't get into this hobby for convenience > w <.

Catch ya later on the webz!
